For a little extra credit I am ask to write a brief intro about myself. The weird thing is I ask myself the same question once in a while. Who am I? What am I doing with my life? Where will I be in the future? When will I be a millionaire? and the million dollar question “Why?”
I will probably never answer any of those questions about myself. The one thing we can all do is look into the past of our life, and maybe, to see what we will be in the future. I am born in Thailand in 1985. My family was refugees running from Laos into Thailand where I lived in a refugee camp until I was 7 years old. I have heard lots of stories about how harsh their trip was as my parents are chased out of Laos. I could never get a visual idea of how it was for them until I recently found lots of video of the current Hmong living in Laos.

That is a brief history of where I came from. As of now, I am currently attending Chico State as an APGC student but still confused to what I really want to be in the future. As of this semester, I am making a major change to business. At home, I have a beautiful 3 years old daughter who is about to turn 4 at the end of the month. Her mom is studying at Butte college who hopes of becoming a nurse in the future. I always think it is funny that we are working for the future but that is something we will never be able to reach. The future we are working for will also have a future of its own.
I am very uncertain about my future but the one goal I dream of achieving is giving my daughter a bright future. Why I am uncertain about my future? Cause that goal was never there 4 years ago. She changed my life and I have embraced that with love every time I see her beautiful smile. I just recently got her a bicycle with training wheels. We would go biking together on a nice sunny days. Beside from hanging out with my daughter, I love basketball. When the weather permits, I would most likely be out on the court with my friends.
