There is a process that each of us goes through indefinitely. We make a plan. The plan hits a big wall. Before going over or under the wall, we must repute a resolution, a new plan, to reach the other side. Can I say this college thing was set out for me by my parents? On my own will, I plan to attend and finish college with a degree. Ever single test and exam is its own little wall. Every single class became the walls foundation. The walls that I been trying to climb have gotten 4 years higher and it is seem so out of reach. Low on cash is definitely a never ending wall as well. There has not been any closure to this resolution but I have not abandon the plan that I first set out accomplish.

The Great Wall of China became a wall for the Xiongnu people to climb.
Jasmine also went through a similar process. She is the main character from the novel Jasmine by Bharati Mukherjee. Her husband, Prakash, and her made the plan to come to American. Prakash ask Jasmine “what do you think of America?” then plan “to go away and have a real life” (Mukherjee 81). They plan to go to America where they can have a life. Where Prakash can go to school to study engineer and Jasmine would come along as his wife. Perhaps open a store of their own called “Vijh & Wife”.
The wall that they had to climb became a one person battle. While out shopping for wedding saris, Prakash saved his wife from the bombing sacrificing himself by using his body as cushions for Jasmine. The death of Prakash creates a new wall for Jasmine. She would grief her lost and live a widow life. With that she came up with a resolution. Her new plan: “Prakash had taken Jyoti and created Jasmine, and Jasmine would complete the mission of Prakash” (Mukherjee 97). She develop her plan to go to American and fulfill Prakash dreams.
Jasmine’s next wall to cross over was to attain fake paper and passport to reach America. She was lucky because Hari-prar arranged her illegal documents. “It took him months, many trips to Chandigarh and Delhi, and cost her everything Prakash had saved” (Mukherjee 98). She easily made over the second wall that she encounter but at the cost of her saving.
Her accomplishment of getting over this wall is only the beginning. In America, she will encounters wall higher than ever. As for me, when I finally climb over the college wall, there will be a wall waiting for me. The wall will most likely be finding a job which might lead to financial problems. It is an unwritten attribute that us human goes through. A human nature would probably best describe our fierce will to overcome the wall of head of us to reach our dreams.

Maybe it is Jasmine's assignment in life to over come these walls just like how you are faced with over coming yours.
